Do students who go to Rutgers-Newark graduate with the same degree as students who go to New Brunswick? Trying to figure out what the difference is, and how closely they are related. Thanks!

Depends on what you're trying to get at when you say "same" as you may not be asking the right question. It's not really a question of being the same degree, even within the NB campus (where there are a dozen(?) +/- degree-granting academic units), let alone Newark or Camden which also have multiple ones. There are different degree requirements to graduate from different programs on each of the 3 campuses.

Now, all degrees university-wide (as well as at all degree levels...bachelor's, master's, doctoral) will say Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey along the top. As @HeavenUniv. pointed out in the other thread you started on the FB board, the specific degree and academic unit is indicated on the degree as well which simply distinguishes which faculty awarded or conferred the degree.

Depending on the particular field(s) of study that might be of interest, there may not be all of the same departments or programs on both of the campuses so that could play a role in which campus to consider if you're an applicant.

As Tex mentioned, if ,say, a prospective student was looking for some Environmental majors, they might only be available at Cook. On the other hand, I think Theater Arts and Technology is only offered at Newark. If someone really wants a small campus, Camden would be the choice. I know Camden gets a bad reputation, but it is a nice compact campus with dorms right there. I go to hear performances by the Symphony in Camden from time to time. Nice concert hall/theater

Yes, Camden has a very nice concert hall -- the Walter Gordon theatre. (Gordon was a long-time provost at Camden when that was the highest office there.) Camden students seem to like their campus more than NB/Piscataway or Newark students like theirs, and the classes are smaller. But the students entering Camden have weaker grades/SATs than students at other campuses. I don't know about Holloway, but central administration has generally not allocated much money to Camden. The campus is at least as safe as NB -- as at NB and Newark, one has to have a few street smarts.Keep in mind, though, that there is no engineering program in Camden, only the first two years of pre-major courses.
