Rutgers No. 4 Field Hockey Hosts Indiana Friday, No. 1 Northwestern Sunday

Among many very good field hockey players, Causarano & Langejans stand out as really good. Bannantyne stands out as well in that she needs to sharpen up.

So how can the shot even possibly get overturned? I assume either our shooter 1) crossed the line or 2) lifted her stick to high? I have no idea!

What exactly happened?
RU scored what looked to be the GW goal in the shootout but officials take a long review and waive it off without explanation. The announcers said the goal looked good and had no idea what was wrong with it.

Then NW has a violation during their next shot but RU can’t challenge/review it because they used it already since the officials blew another call earlier.

Always happens to RU unsurprisingly

Ok Shootout rules are that the stick has to be touching the ball when shooting. No space is allowed between stick and ball. No wind up. So it could be that
