Rutgers vs Eastern Michigan / Game Thread

What a stupid, stupid, stupid decision to put Lewis in on second down! They all knew where the ball was going and we were running on them at all well, so ****ing stupid!

Give the kid an entire drive, once we get the lead, don't put him in when we're completely dominating the line of scrimmage and moving down the field like that!

got the 3 even though the wildknight slowed the momentum and then Bolin almost blew the series with a bad pass.

Hopefully lesson learned. Stop stupid play calling when you are dominating aspect of game. Eastern Michigan is estates right now that we just shot ourselves.

Why did they bring Lewis in on a drive where they had a rhythm going with the RB? Again, the staff is being too cute for its own good. Also, Ash has shown when he bring in a freshman QB he's only in there to run. Everyone in the stadium knows this, but the staff. You fooled no one.

I have to say we have the best, most underrated, fans in college football. No other fan base would put up with this for so long and still show up (a pat on the back to our fans)
like being a NY football Giants fan in the late 1970's and early 1980's

Seriously, this. The fact that we still have thousands of fans show up after the last 10 games is one of the more impressive achievements in college football...

Btw, Lewis in for a run/handoff was not horrendous. It didn't work. But it's not like Kill put him in the shotgun for a pass play.
Just like last year a freshman QB was never coming into the game to pass the ball. Ash wants to ease the young players into the game, but the defense knows this too. It makes defending the young QB much easier. You end up limiting the success opportunity for the young QB.
