I think the match against Minny could be a bad matchup for us. Our two big guns get opponents who are difficult matchups in Lizak and Thorn. It would not shock me if either of them or both pulled upsets. We fly out this morning which is a tough trip so our home cooking at the RAC does not exist. We are banged up at 165 and 174 so who knows if we have anyone there. Where they are very good we have been up and down. Don’t feel good about this trip. Not being pessimistic just realistic

I think it's a much more realistic view than WNG often takes. When I first started looking at the match-ups, I had the same take. You guys need bonus somewhere to compensate for the potential/likely Minnie bonus at 125, 141 and 285. Unfortunately, your two likely bonus guys are at weights where Minnie also has tough guys, so even if the toss-ups hold serve, getting bonus is going to be difficult. Nick needs to be on his horse from the get-go with relentless pace, and hope that he can wear Lizak down for some third period scoring.

Haven't you heard??!!! The only reason Spencer Lee lost to Rivera was because he was still recovering from the flu he had back in November.
I think Ash wins comfortably maybe major. And I also think Suriano wins as well. I don’t see a major for NS. Ash match reminds me of a couple years ago when he wrestled Cruz at home. Was very nervous for that match and Ash showed us just how much better he had gotten then Cruz. I think something similar happens here. 141 is key to not give up bonus. Lipari wrestled better at midlands but if we get the Vegas Lipari he will be in for a long night. JV match is a must win. I feel like if we keep this dual close it would be a great accomplishment 125 141 165 174 hwt are all big problems so if we can win 1or 2 of them it will close the gap. Due to there bonus points they will get I don’t see a W.
I said in another thread that Thorn took it to AA yrs ago and hoping he hasn’t forgot about that. It’s a weird matchup for sure but I also think AA is a different wrestler this year. He has certainly dictated his path thus far this year. Years past he wouldn’t always be on the offensive but it’s a new year (6th yr). Keep it up!

I concur with Haleyr1 here - Do not see Glasgow wrestling tomorrow if he just had surgery after the Rider match.

Instead of possibly losing both 157 and 165, I wonder if Coach G might bump JVB to 165 only for today , for the better chance at points at 157/165, and put Benner at 157. If JVB wrestles Bleise at 157, JVB is probably a small underdog. If Minn is still putting unranked Carson Brolsma, instead of Jake Alar (RS?), I think JVB is the favorite there.
The lineup will depend on how match is going....Benner weighed in at 157 and Oliveiri and Glasgow weighed in at 65
Unranked Broslma is a tough wrestler.Took Demetrius Romero from Utah Valley ranked in top 8 to SV. He was up 7 to 1 and lost the match.
