No problemo. The coach’s have a lot to figure out. We have this forum to share our opinions . It’s all good .
You obviously don’t have a clue what your talking about...JVB was 157 most of the year ..RL didn’t want to do the work to make the 157 weight ...remember ....so JVB was at coaches mercy til they put foot down and made RL choose ..he chose 165 ...he won choice so he got what he wanted ...why would coaches treat JVB any different this year ..he won the spot ..it should be his ...why don’t you get your facts straight and stop with the switching crap ..it makes no sense....

One wrestle off does not equate to holding down the spot.Look at other teams that have multiple wrestle offs and tournament placing.It still does not negate the fact that Glasgow is not healthy, which means it does not matter which weight he goes the knee is still an issue.
Not saying this is true, as I have no idea, but the level of sensitivity this poster displays towards the Van Brill boys shows through pretty intensly at times.

Hey genius ...they had live wrestling last week and JVB beat him again ...ask WNG ...he’ll attest to it since he is there a lot...I’ll defend any kid on this team ...I don’t pick and choose ...celebrating style is all you got to knock ...wow ...some true fans we have that they knock a crushing team win simply because a kid chooses to do a flip ..

I cant believe this conversation about possibly moving JVB up to 165 and Glasgow down to 157 is still going on.. As stated numerous times, how does make the team better? And even if it does(and I dont think it does), it is not fair to JVB to move him up. He gets to choose 157 since he is beating Glasgow and he was seconds away from All American last year at 157. He started the season ranked 9th by Flo. He again has a chance to AA at 157. Look at 165 do you think he could AA at 165.....I dont think he would have a chance, one of the best and deepest weight classes this year. For those thinking he should move up, do you know how many matches JVB has wrestled at 165? 5 career matches out of 129(including redshirt) and he is 3-2.

Was this a simulated match? What truly matters is Vanbrill becoming an All American.What are your results in March period.There are no medals for beating teammates.I truly want Vanbrill to fulfill his dreams in becoming an All American - He is a had working kid on and off the mat.Very smart & polite young man doing the right things.
The coaches should have redshirted Glasgow giving a full year of competition.You absolutely benefit from it (even Ashnault had a redshirt)

I thought we were too ..I’m not the one pushing the switch weight narrative or ripping a kid because he got excited in the moment and did a back flip ....so what ..he got a needed win and did a back flip and guys here were ripping him for it ...true fans those two are lol
He is a senior who is loving every moment at the RAC. These are his last matches so I know Vanbrill is enjoying every moment of it spontaneously.I am okay with having a little fun.He will remember moments like this.
C'mon people.. lets not let this degenerate like football threads!!! Abro, especially an Abro who has been downing a few manhattans becomes a different character... But he's a fun character, and will own up to it...(which he did when I called him out jokingly earlier this thread) Yesterday was a very solid win vs a decent team (as several close match scores can attest to) The difference yesterday came down to us being the more battle tested team!! I will rewatch the match and then bring back another edition of "the Devil's Den" to give my input on these matches... But bottom line, let's celebrate a well earned dominating win against a team who basically made this their "Super Bowl"
JVB won and we are arguing how he celebrated. He didn’t run over and finger wave the opposing coach or anything insulting. PSU (granted the wrestlers are better) is discussing the same topic. Let the kids enjoy themselves and you can Debby Down their other life choices off the mat. Kids win and can celebrate or shake hands with opposing coaches or walk off the mat. Moving along.
