sackenberg declares for draft

It's his own fault for, as the top QB recruit in the country, going to a broken institution. Cry me a river, Hack. No one to blame but yourself.

Sorry, but that's not fair to Hack. I have yet to hear him publicly complain about the situation he put himself in or feel sorry for himself. If anything, the kid has handled the circumstances about as well as you could ask.

QBs that have slightly better than a 50 percent pass completion rate tend not to make it in the NFL.

How can he complain, he put himself in the situation that PatrickRU talks about? Sackenberg got EXACTLY what he deserved with the downward trajectory of his college career over the past two years, the 83 sacks, PTSD, etc. It's all about karma, baby! Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Funny that he couldn't stand Franklin, those two deserve each other.

Hackenburg was great his freshman year. Franklin absolutely ruined him.

His freshman year he had 3 NFL lineman, and a NFL WR that saved his ass on many plays. That being said, Hack really didn't fit the Franklin/Donavin offense. And then of course there was the weekly beatings he was taking.

Patrick's post would have been spot on if he didn't say, "Cry me a river, Hack." What exactly was Hack crying about? What was he complaining about? Nothing.

Well, no he was not literally crying, no argument there. However, if you read his slight of Franklin in the presser as intentional, that can be considered a "complaint".

Disagree and has nothing to do with anything I commented on from Patrick. Although I didn't agree with his decision to omit Franklin, so be it.
