Hilarious. They're up 7 recruits to our 1. We're losing the battle (chuckling). They're class is now ranked 60 to our 64 with their 18 recruits to our 13. Babers is burning it up.

He took MAC level players to Syracuse? Excellent. Ironically that's probably the league Syracuse belongs in. They may score points, run it up on bad teams and be fun to watch but they will give up 40+ points per game. In hindsight, Marone was probably their best hope to return to relevance. Coached the team up and they played with a level of toughness and physicality under him. I doubt "The Babe" will bring that mentality. No he's going to bring his west coast vibe to the Siberia of college football. What a match!

They are not going to die despite what many on this message board seem to believe. Rivalries are good for both programs. It would give us two rivalry games against PSU and Cuse. MAC level players are an upgrade for Syracuse.

Pitt/Penn State Pitt/West Va. RU/Syracuse RU/Temple RU/U Conn. ND./ Michigan, Their are a lot of very good if not Great rivalries that have been
discontinued due to conference realignment. As time goes on we will build new ones. It is what it is. I focus more on our new opportunities with the BIG
than our time with the Big East. If it wasn't for Big East basketball their would have been an all sports conference in the Northeast and those rivalries would probably still be alive.
We R BIG sit back and enjoy the resurrection of everything Rutgers.

I have to say that both programs seem to be swirling the bowl pretty equally. Hopefully, we find our way out of the darkness sooner rather than later.

I go up to Syracuse a lot as I know someone that goes to grad school there. The atmosphere in comparison between the schools couldn't be further apart. They don't tailgate, the student section is empty, stadium is half full. Last year, we got into the Duke game halfway through the second quarter and sat in the front row of the student section. There is no excitement with the football program up there. It might as well not exist. The only fans they have are older who are trying to hold on to old times. Basketball on the other hand is awesome up there.
