Stupid plays like the turnover and fouling the three point shooter late almost cost us.

Plus three straight missed foul shots down the stretch.

Very often out of control and bad decision making trying to create or forcecwhennothing is there.

Come on, man!

Pike needs to get Corey's head screwed on straight and also work on that sad jumper (air ball tonite) so he can live up to the potential.

since we won, I will not get on him, let's just say it was a pretty awful performance with a few bonehead mistakes that really could have killed this team but didn't.

RU cannot get by against a quality team like Northwestern tomorrow if Corey is not 100 percent head screwed on

He didn't foul the three point shooter. He had a bad game though. Enjoy the W.

Really? Because the game I watched he fouled a three point shooter who happens to shoot 91% from the line - OSUs best three point shooter who proceeded to drain all three. Took it from a three possession game to a two possession game with ~ a minute left.

had a bad game. let the kid live. happens. Played solid D with a few bone head moves. Think hell use this towards the NW game.

Corey was hesitant in his decision making for most of the night and his game was out of sync. He was not hesitating in the beginning of the second half, hoisting up shots and dribbling with a purpose, and his game improved temporarily. I think another off season with Pike and Knight will improve the way he thinks the game offensively and hopefully that improvement is similar to his defensive improvement this year (although he still tries to help D too much leaving his man open on the perimeter too much for my linking).

Geez man relax.. Sanders had a bad game but without him we would have won about 5 games this year

Sanders and Williams play a little tight and too fast in crunch time sometimes, but both are great competitors.

Not even close to being a foul, so you like the ref are probably blind. Go watch that replay 10 times , then come post again you were wrong. Yeah , Corey had one of his worst games but it doesn't happen often. Despite that his 5 quick points and assist to Issa for the three to start the second half causing Ohio State to call a timeout 2 minutes into the second half , was the best start of a second half we have had all year. So not all bad. He was out of sync tonight with several bad turnovers and missed free throws. But just stop with the bashing of one of our key players if not our best player.

He had a bad game but this team wouldn't be the team they are without him. He's held his own all season. Bad games happen. Give him and everyone a break tonight. Enjoy the win be happy!

Gotta allow him a bad game. S**t happens. Everybody has always made him feel he's indispensible, and he presses. Tonight may have shown him the team can handle an off game by him and allow him to relax the next game. Don't count hhim out against NW.

Played good D.

Beating a dead horse. He doesn't pass when penetrating! Watched Tony Carr in Game 1.....not nearly as explosive, but he penetrates to get others baskets. I don't for the life of me understand why Pikiell doesn't ask him to drive and kick or drive and dish. Guys are open!

Because we can't make open shots when he dishes

The foul called against Corey on the three-point shooter does not show a low basketball IQ. Coaches often spend a lot of time teaching how to close out on a three point shooter. You have to judge where the release point will be and take the correct angle. The way he closed out on that shooter, going to a spot where he could not possibly commit a foul but could possibly throw the shot off, was textbook. That was a high basketball IQ play. He should not be criticized for the referee's error.

It was not Corey's best game but no one is perfect. I was right by the foul on the 3 point shot and to me and the people around me it was all ball. I'm sure he will play much better tomorrow. I am still enjoying the win. It was wonderful. These kids have worked so hard all year.

For anybody knocking Corey he won the game starting the 2nd half and it was probably our best 2nd half start all year. As to the three point foul, it was a great defensive play and an awful call by the Officials who have hosed us all year. Anticipated a foul that did not happen.

Corey made some nice buckets in the second half. And he played great D. It's a team game. Would not have won without him.
Sure, he has had better games, but the other guys stepped it up (looking at you Nigel). That's what good teams do.

I'm hoping sanders explodes against northwestern. We have a great opportunity to make a run.

We have no backup point guard. Not sure we even would have won 5.

I'm a huge fan of CS, and he probably played the worst I have ever seen him play last night. Turnovers, missed free-throws, air-balls, inability to either penetrate or finish, horrible, horrible foul on the three-pointer (terrible call, but still, let him take the shot). At times it looked like he was trying to lose the game. Hopefully he will be well-rested for tonight and be the best player on the floor, at least for Rutgers. I can't imagine Rutgers getting another win without Corey being Corey.

I was as frustrated with his game as the next fan..... part of this might be that the opponent concentrates on taking a particular player out of the game...little things that we as fans don't particularly pick up on......more often than not it might be Corey.....
Northwestern will probably key on Corey also, despite the last game...if Corey can just play without worrying about his scoring stats, set up others, it might be good enough....keep the mistakes to a minimum...
after a while the game might come to him anyway

Joey....you need to go back to wherever you came from.....he played great D but did not have a good offensive game....it happens.

If you watched the replay, he clearly had all ball and an announcer comment on that too. It was a phantom call. What is he supposed to do? Not contest the shot so the guy takes an uncontested 3?

Corey will bounce back tonight and have a big game. Northwestern couldn't stop him the other two times we played them! He was too quick for the guards. So he'll be able to get in the lane tonight. We'll need one of his best defensive efforts tonight as well because Northwestern shoots a lot from the perimeter.
