Scarlet News: Monday QB on the Boards

Hello, This is Tim from Scarlet News. Bringing back the expanded football feature. This week we are talking about starting QB Gavin Wimsatt. Overall I thought he had a very mature and improved game. Wimsatt showed progress on accuracy and throwing plays. My only downside to him was how he was hanging around too long to throw. In bigger games against tougher competition, I can't see that working for him or the line as a whole. Wimsatt went 17/29 for 163 yards and had one touchdown. Finished with a QBR of 81. Overall a good game for Wimsatt, will look to see if Sam Brown is back on Saturday to add to the weapons that he can use. If Rutgers has to add to the running game he will be a big addition. Look forward to seeing what the future holds for both.
