Schedule looking better

It’s looking like IL could turn out to be the best team in the B1G. If that’s true then our Feb 15th game with them at the RAC could be huge for our standing in the B1G and our ranking nationally (assuming we take care of business before then).

we have 7 games remaining against the bottom 5 schools
So what. We could end up going 4-8 the rest of the way based on the quality of the teams, (not on the current standings, which don't mean much after only eight league games). Do you think we make the NCAA going 9-11 in league? We'd need to win a couple of games in the B10 tourney to be sure. Let's not just assume we're going to beat Nebraska. Nothing's a gimme in the B10 this year.

No doubt. The guys better come ready to play. To quote a wise man... We were picked 12th in this league.

And...

We've never swept anyone in the Big 10. Ever.

When we had the chance last year, we played 25 minutes of flat ball against PSU and missed 31 shots in the last 15 seconds to lose by 1. Lets not do that again.

Losers whine. Winners go home and f@$& the prom queen!

Enjoy the ride! Does this team strike anyone as one that will fold?!?

Sure, be a realist, dwell on a total meltdown. Get grey hair and eat more Tums and bitch and bemoan the negative.

There’s also a good chance we beat the snot out of the rest of the schedule too!

Some people are like Meteorologists: they say 20% chance of rain which also means 80% chance of NICE!!!

It’s also telling when I post optimism (like against Iowa) and then some Pollyanna wants to rub it in my face that we lose. Life’s too short. Grow up and move on.

This team is good. Some RU-PTSD in all of us that makes us want to temper our expectations.

Now that we have more evidence to draw from, I do agree the back end of our schedule looks less daunting, and our chances of finishing at or above .500 in the B1G are looking good.

Above .500 and we are dancing.
At or below and it’s iffy.

Couldn't agree more, never understood why people lets sports make them miserable, I would quit watching if that was the case. How can you not enjoy what is going on with this team and Rutgers sports in general right now. And yes I agree that there is not a game we can't win the rest of the year.

You guys are way off base. I don't think anyone isn't loving what going on with this team, but I, for one, also know that the whole league is brutal so I'm going to wait a couple of weeks before I go off the deep end and assume we'll be in the tourney. Talk is cheap, gotta do it on the court.
