On the size issue, ND is a very poor offensive rebounding team, so few second chance points for them. I can see Cliff with a double-double. (18 points, 15 rebounds)

There are matchups that would work and if we bring in a quality 5, Dean almost has to play some 4Any chance Dean gets a few minutes at the 4 if Ron against the 6'10 fella isn't working?
I actually don't love Ron against taller defenders. He has struggled at times. He tends to dominate more, at least in the paint/on drives on defenders 6'6" and under. That said, if his threes are dropping that will help tremendously.
Size and strength advantage for Paul Ron and Cliff. Dominate them. They will either give up easy buckets or get in foul trouble with a shallow bench
Yea, they don't block shots and don't want to foul. That's a rough combination to try to stop Cliff Ron and Paul. We should be able to pile up points in the paintThey don't really foul much at all. Ryan/Laszewski each commit just 3.1 pf/40 min. Wertz has 3.0 and Wesley has 2.7
We commit about 15.6 fouls per 40 min game, and they commit about 12.8
They're not looking to block shots (340th nationally), and aren't really challenging hard at the rim - probably because they only have 2 bigs and need to keep them out of foul trouble. They also don't seem to focus on getting steals (319th nationally).
They get to the line about as frequently as we do, but put up far more shots from the arc (24.1/g vs. our 18.1/g).
Per Bart, they take 34.8% of their shots as Close Twos, 22.0% as Farther Twos, and 43.1% as Threes.... very much the "at the rim or behind the arc" approach. Our breakdown is 33.1% Close Twos, 35.6% as Farther Twos, and 31.4% as Threes.... relying much more on the midrange game.
