Would work better after a very successful season
I have said many times that the long term courtside fans should remain where they are, as long as they wantyeah...
before this season would've been perfect actually...might've been able to attract a few bigger time whales if you could promise them a courtside or row a type block of tickets. but that would mean RU getting their s*it together for once...

They are true fans
Rewarding a new big donor, he might be here one year and gone the next, while the long time fan got screwed and worse seats
There is a reason long term fans accumulate
priority points
The long term fan should have the option to keep his seats, just tell him what is requiredthat's fine as long as you are also ok with a subpar team...because our peers are trying to milk their fanbase for all their worth. this is big time athletics.
to me long term fans do get rewarded...with priority points. you get them for tickets purchased and for consecutive years of purchase...plus you get them for lifetime donations. this is more than fair imo and gives you a nice head start over a newbie.
it's not like a guy who has had row a-c type tickets in the 100s for 20 years is going to have his season tickets revoked if he doesn't buck up...but yeah he might have to move back some rows or move to the side for a guy who is willing to cut a big check.
I ageee with you….mostly. The one issue is that because the floor is somewhat too low, there are 1/4 to 1/3 of the 100 level that easily sell their tickets at the first sign of struggle . I deal with plenty of the opposing fans next to me who bought tickets for approx $100….The long term fan should have the option to keep his seats, just tell him what is required

Are you suggesting congestion pricing? Why can't they just get rid of priority pints and "mandatory donations"?
Price tickets at the price needed to cover spending by the team.
Just like every other sport.
If you don't want to pay when prices raise, lose your tickets and someone else can buy them.
If you don't have tickets, you have to wait.
Yup the next Noah Fernandes, Peter Kiss, or Jordan Derkack will find themselves here next year and we’ll be told how incredible they are all summer.Imagine all the selfish bullshit in coming weeks with good players in mid majors being told "payday is coming keep the stats up"
The Pike apologists will tell you how much potential they have. How great they were at D3, MAC, NCAC level, Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the year... but when they get punched in the face in the B1G to give them time... LOL what a joke. whoever is the recruiting coordinator for RU Hoops should be fired and Pike needs to figure out what his team's identity is. Get back to hard nosed basketball... value the ball, play D, box out and rebound both ends of the court.Yup the next Noah Fernandes, Peter Kiss, or Jordan Derkack will find themselves here next year and we’ll be told how incredible they are all summer.
