Did Rutgers really lose second chance points 34-8?
That's a 26-point difference in a 10-point loss.
The team allowed 18 offensive rebounds.
Just gotta rebound better than this. C'mon Coach Pike, coach 'em up bigtime.

The team committed to rebounding briefly this season but we have reverted back to standing and watching
Fools gold against those early Sisters of the Poor schools perhaps. ☹

Ballo was always gonna kill us on offensive glass he’s a beast and we can’t rebound

Most of rebounding involves 3 basic things:

1) Positioning / Boxing out
2) Anticipation and
3) Effort

We failed at these 3 things on a large majority of the chances.

We have shown flashes (albeit very few) that we can do these 3 things collectively as a team.

If we get 6-8 more rebounds and hit a few more foul shots we’re in this game until the end or win it.

Story of the season unfortunately.

Ognole and Martini were both terrible last game. Ogbole is big, but he is slow and has no hops. He absolutely has to have position or he won’t get the rebound.

Everyone think EO shoukd
Play to help us rebound.

Can anyone show me
How successful he has been in that department?!! I actually rather give all minutes to Lathan as we get some production on offense eventhough we don’t use him properly either

I mean, he averages 4 more boards per 100 possessions and 3 more per 40 minutes. Did Lathans 3 baskets and three turnovers really benefit RU much more than EO's no shots taken last night? The 2 more rebounds Lathan had in 16 additional minutes?
Lathan has improved his straight up post defense a little, but he's completely lost on that end if he needs to move his feet.
