Serious Question - Players vs. Coaches

Players generally speaking aren't better than the Michigan guys in one on one situations but coaching is not doing enough to help adjust for that IMO. Blame lies in both areas.

talent only goes so far but good coaching can make up for some of that. The way teams, even Howared, are getting to the outside all year is not on talent, it's the inability of the coaches to make changes or adjustments. The scheme on O, sets, and play develpment is horrible!!!!! Yeah our qb blows but damn, they have guys coming off the ends that are not even touched, more than once! this is now coaching, we are unprepared, look lost even....

Coaching staff is completely unproven at this level. So far they are in way over their heads. Even acknowledging the talent gap, the coaches have shown nothing to mitigate the talent gap.
I hope Ash & Co. turn out to be great recruiters and program builders because their coaching ability has not shown much this far.

We have played three, top five teams and last years Rose Bowl team, in six games.
We have no athletes on defense who can remotely contain Peppers when he's in there.
Is it coaching? No, it's not coaching. It's a beaten up, vastly undermanned team.
Ash can coach. He's done wonders organizationally with the program,. If he has issues on his staff, he'll make changes at the end of the year.

I hope you are right, but as of now, we look like a mediocre D2 program and the coaches are part of the blame.
Flood was allowed to stay too long, all the while, the recruiting was telling the story of what was coming down the road. We're down the road now.
???? let's assume you are right, can show you how you are wrong just in this game alone but, I need you ttell me exactly what wonders has he done? I am begging you to show what 'wonders' he has done
so you are saying you can't back up what you are saying or are too unintelligent to have a proper response? You made a comment, you need to back it up as the coach you say has done wonders, didn't get a first down in the first half and dind't make a single adjustment. I think you need to learn the game or keep you ignorant mouth shut

A new offense where the QB just hands the ball off and never runs and then drops straight back on third down? (looks very much like what we've seen here for years)...
there are PLENTY of things coaches could be doing with these B level players. (no insult intended for Hicks and Martin and Hamilton and several others.....take them ANYDAY)

so you are saying you cannot articulate or back up your comment. I'd say that is the very definition of a loser so thanks for playing. I'd give you a buck to buy a clue but you probably couldn't find the store
Next time you make a comment like, 'he's done wonderous things' you need to back it up as your guy just went a first half without a single first down and sport, that is not talent's fault
yes talent is bad and many of us said this would happen but this team has far more talent and support that what GS inherited. We just went a half without a first down, a single adjustment on either side of ball and NO ONE CAN LAY THIS ON TALENT. THAT IS COACHING.....
