Especially when they are as athletic as we are.

Simple math — if their shooting percentage is better than ours, then more shot attempts by both teams means we lose by a greater margin.

The only way you can win a fast-paced game against a better shooting team is by either forcing them into more turnovers or just “hoping” they are cold and we are hot on the same night.

Or maybe you can hope we get fouled a lot more and make enough points at the line to win, but that would be a rare occurrence for RU.

Two games in a row now we have gotten beat badly down the floor. I am starting to get worried that this team doesn’t have it. Maybe Eugene’s heart and attitude is really missed

When you miss as many shots as us and turn the ball over 19 times, we'd have a hard time beating ourselves. Worth trying something else.

damned if you do damned if you dont

this team is bad in the half court

but when this team cannot make shots, they will absolutely get shredded in transition...Maryland, Minny, Purdue all proved that. Transition D extremely weak

You have to be an efficient half court team for this strategy to work. To be an efficient half court team, you have to be able to shoot.
