Given the talent this program has had, this is pretty impressive.

Was CVS not recruiting for a few years down the stretch? I am hearing a small roster but don’t understand what’s going on in WBB at RU, I’ve seen a few games in the past. Including a win over UConn a while back.

The new coach seems like a good fit. This is great news about the tournament and beating NW, but is there a recap of what’s happened over the past few years anyone can post that would help me get the big picture? We were so talented and mostly wining for a long time and then it seemed like the bottom dropped out, etc.

I also did a double take, but while Cappie and Diamond Johnson both averaged more points per game as freshmen, they played fewer games.

Sue Wicks "only" averaged around 14ppg her freshman year.

The winner of the B1G Freshmen of the Year averaged 14.6 at OSU. Smikle was over 17 ppg, much better FT percentage, same RPG, her FG % was lower.

Looked like they picked this based on who played on the better team.
