I too believe that to be correct. Listen, as a young kid I enjoyed watch Georgia Tech in small dosages. It was exciting, high scoring and fun to watch. But at the end of the day it was gimmicky. I see the traditional QB position as we know it today to be a historical note. Just stick a dual threat guy back there with zero QB skills but who could run real real fast and all your problems are solved. Look at my boxing scenario. People will grow tired of this and look elsewhere for entertainment.I believe 13-14 of the Top 15 teams scoring are spread offenses.
