Is it confirmed that there is not field access before or after the game for fans? I am just trying to determine whether or not to bring my boys as that is the highlight for them.

Why is the Spring game not the same day as Rutgers Day?

Because Rutgers Day is jammed with too many activities in a 6-hour time frame and the spring game was part of that problem. (Although 7 pm on Rutgers Day would be great and not interfere with any other activities)

It's usually the first Sunday after training camp starts, but who knows this year.

Big Ten controls game time not RU. That is why it was put at night past 2 years, so please stop griping about whether it should be on Rutgers day or not on Jewish holiday or in afternoon or whatever. Also, I care more about what coach thinks is appropriate than whether your kids like autographs at a particular date or time.
