When Hartford was just shooting out of their mind and had all the bounces and rhythm going ...thought it was an awesome coaching move by Steve p to go big and long and switch to the zone

Yes...Hartford got a couple of more hoops before the bleeding stopped....but it totally interrupted the flow of their offense which was putting on a clinic ...and that they never got close to getting back into sync

That gave us a chance and with one guard of the three...got the other guards a quick blow before the stretch

G-d....I love when we have a coach that totslly gets it ....

First jump to zone lead to a shot clock violation. Second, they hit a three.

Yes ...But it totally messes their rythem up

I think if we stay man ...we lose by 15 plus

Disagree we went right back to the man after they hit the three. We only played it for 2 possessions!!

We actually played 3 possessions in zone. Shot clock violation, foul leading to 1 &1, 3 pt fg. It was really our man defense that picked up at the 4:30 mark. We were still down 11 w 4:30 to play. 2 consecutive steals, we're down 6, and away we go from there

You guys miss the point

It wasn't thar the zone was great...we are noT a zone team ..:but It got them out of the rythem on their motion offense so when we went back to man...they never got back in sync

That is a stretch. We just stepped up our D and the crowd got involved and they choked a little down the stretch combined with our good play. Great win but if any move made a difference it was going to more pressure full court. Should have done it sooner.

I know what your saying. I think switching it up on D is a good strategy to cool off a hot hand, I just don't think it was particularly effective in this instance. Our pressure m2m kicked it into gear at the 4-5 min mark
