Do we have any names or upcoming visitors and any info on the twins from NC state, I believe they have to sit out a year? In looking at the roster now, we have 10 scholarship guys for a nice rotation. I guess we can add two more players? Any ideas who we are targeting?

The consensus on the boards seems to be a guard who can shoot

I don't know who we are targeting but there are plenty of 5th year guys left.

I find DeVon Walker of Florida intriguing for us.

He can shoot, defend and has the length to play 2/3. Seems to be looking for a place with an opportunity to play. Was highly recruited, but was beaten out for PT last season. Seems to be a high character type. Only 1 year commitment at a spot of need.

Since he has been injured and not has not exactly set the world on fire with his play, its at least realistic that we would have a shot.

We have some Floridians on the basketball and football roster, perhaps we could leverage that angle.

Hmm. If martins don't make it here, then 2 years would be better. But I'm pretty sure he only has 1 year

At least Walker would only be on scholarship for one season and than it would be available again for 2017. His stats were really bad. What was his injury? He only shot 22.8% on field goals and 10.5% on three's this past season. His free throw shooting was only 48% but 2 years earlier he hit over 70%. What actually happened?

How could he possibly drop to shooting THAT bad? I mean that's reallyyyyy bad

a grad transfer that is fundamentally sound, that can shoot a little bit and play in the fall, would round out the team much better than I thought we would have, and I believe that gives us the full ships for next years and beyond (not sure on ship count)

I favor a 5th year player that can provide some bench strength and also frees up a scholarship for 2017.This season is a transition year with the new coaching staff improving the skill set of the current squad and also recruiting hard for 2017.
