Hampton will be out a few weeks.

i kind of like the idea of Martin pounding them for the first half and having Hicks use some shiftiness and drive to take advantage of tired legs in the second half.

My take was they needed to get Martin in game shape since he missed Washington. Now they all are ready to go. BTW, Hicks is more of a power runner. I used to think the opposite two years ago but he lowers the boom. They both do.

The other issue vs Howard is we only had the ball for 8 minutes in the first half. Not easy to spread the touches. In the second half everyone and their brother got touches.

Actually Hester missed his first two in the open field but he played very well in run support as the game wore on. He was taking on OL and TE's and standing them up which allowed others to come make the tackle. He also made some nice tackles and was our best Tackler in the Washington game in the open field. Maybe you need to watch a little before chirping. Not saying we do not want Hampton back but I am saying you are a critical dude.

Wrong.
Besides whiffing on 2 open field tackles against Howard in the 1st Qtr, he also whiffed on easy open field tackle in the 3rd Qtr right in front of the RU bench. You should shut your fat pie hole unless you know what you are talking about .
