This has been a rough one , a season the likes of which I never thought we would see again. But we did. Tough on the players ,the coaches ,the fans and anyone watching ..Alcoholics ,drug addicts , gamblers , shoppers ,corporations and families need to hit true bottom before the interventions and cures work. I believe that time has come just as it did when Schiano arrived. Ash and frIends went through a trial by fire and all got burned pretty bad. Now it is on them to recover and move forward and for us as a fan base to give them the chance. Frankly I stopped watching this year. Too painful. But I will be back when I find the optimism that once gave me hope of a brand known as Rutgers football. In the interim I will be going to the RAC to do what I haven't done in a long long time. Have fun watching Rutgers basketball.

Next year will be more of the same. I have lost a lot of confidence in Ash's ability as a head coach.

You are a jackass. Many coaches that end up successful suck in Year 1. Look at Fleck for example, went 1-11 in year 1. How about Rhule going 2-10 in year 1...or McIntyre at Colorado. Point is give him 3 years before lighting your torch and sharpening your pitchfork.

Some people have been fanatics for 50 years on this board, I don't think it's that crazy to finally say…call me in three years when we're competitive again.

FIFY
But in all seriousness Ash having no HC experience and bringing the Staff in he did having the results we did was not shocking, Making some changes in staff and keeping the recruiting class committed is the start will right this ship.

Instill the culture! Ash will be just fine! Just my opinion of coarse. He needs to prove himself, but he has been around winners so I like our chances here.
