RU has some favorable games...iowa, minny, usc at washington...win them all and they make the tourney.Win 3 and it could be down to a tiebreaker for that last spot but I think RU is in good shape with the win over Northwestern and split vs PSU. Indiana could end up falling off a cliff so that loss could come into play

Yeah, our margin is down to what.... we can only lose 1 of the last 9? Chip and a chair...

yeah its all about big 10 tourney now but I was there weeks ago, i know people somehow feel they need to never give up hope but it does not make you a bad fan to be realistic...before the Harper injury we were in trouble

Yeah, I didn’t realize it at the time but that week from Kennesaw through Vegas games was a signal for the future that the season was going nowhere. To have a really good year we needed to be at least 2-2 and really a 3-1 week to be positioned for the NCAAs. Instead we go 1-3 with a bad loss and we have been in a tailspin since and never recovered. We are 7-11 since the Kennesaw game.

And Harper was healthy then which is why his return doesn’t move the hope needle for me. This team is so fundamentally bad. Ace and Dylan can be fun to watch but as a RU fan this season is so depressing. No joy in Mudville. Highlight reels and the nba draft don’t excite me like wins. This year actually set the program backwards and I’m not seeing a path for a return to the ncaas any year soon. As for my turning point it was that close loss to St. John’s. Had a big lead. Blew it. It told me defense no longer matters and that scared me. Oh well.
