Guess it is still "memorable" but not what I was expecting. Although this is the best offensive team Pike has fielded, the assumed tough defense is the worst. The Sandwich center, formally the RAC, once known as "The trapezoid of terror" is now just terrorizing our team and fans.
I wonder what inner feelings Ace and Dylan have at this point?

Was it really even the best offensive team Pike has fielded? It doesn’t seem like this team found scoring any easier than past teams other than just having two guys who could occasionally make magic out of thin air.

inner feelings? They are counting the millions in their head that is coming to them. This year just a blip on their lives

The experts that run this board were 100% correct on the qualities of Ace and Dylan. But they and the board overall, were dead wrong about what it would mean for the team as a whole. We just had too much to replace.. too much to teach.. to make this work.

People are really overstating how “improved” the offense is.
Particularly when looking at B10 conference games.

10th at 71ppg.
9th in offensive efficiency

This is a middle tier Big Ten offense even with 2 of the top scorers in the conference.

I get that the defense needs to be improved next year.
But the offense needs to also improve. Let alone take a step back next year.

Unless we address the scoring need in the offseason, I think a repeat of last year is more likely than people realize.

If we're talking year over year it is tremendously improved, but that's because it was historically terrible last year. It is mediocre this year.
