Cam is playing and shooting faster, great to see the young man adjust to this level. Well done.
I don’t agree with your assessment of fast slow ect, I think he is adjusting to his team and his roll and he needs a teammate like Paul fully healthy who makes everyone on this team better, anyone who discounts that I believe is missing something. Let’s stop with the slow BS so tired of the description
Basketball at this level “the purest form of basketball played Today,” is so much more than speed. The NBA in its current form is unwatchable and a bastardization of the game. Basketball is a team game in its truest form. Footwork, form Knowing where to be on the floor spacing passing awareness of where your teammates are hustle ect are so much more important. Speed is great for track sprinters. Let’s stop the speed nonsense.
Cam does this many games but he stayed out on the court pregame an extra 5-7 minutes after everyone went in just practicing shooting. He was like Steph curry I think he hit 15 threes in a row and then finished it with like 5 foul shots

Cam is the first guy in a while that when he puts up a shot behind the 3 pt line I don't wince. I usually feel confident it's going in.
He had limited minutes. I’ll take 5-5, with a bunch of 3s any day..
It is also the way the shots were created, which I ,as well as a few other were mentioning. Keep him moving, set screens , etc.

The body of work shows we will have some good days from cam and some bad days. Very Inconsistent .
Shoukd be a triangle of cam PM and cliff. Pick and rolls and can spotting up…even working the ball into cliff will open Cam up. That is the key to our offense imo
High pick and roll with Paul and Cliff with Cam in the corner and Aundre in the other corner has to be run a lot . It has to be a staple of this offense since it will unlikely be stopped
Spencer needs to take at least 10 shots a game because he is the best outside shooter.
Got to give Pike credit, pieces are coming together. He knows how he wants to play and he is getting and developing the players he needs.
The program is progressing, If he lands some of the guys out there who have Rutgers on their short list, I am optimistic we can be a consistent top 4 big 10 program.
It’s all good. We can agree to disagree. The adjustment going from a lower level of basketball is a big jump. Whether it’s faster or whatever, he is adjusting.
That is the case with many on this team. There will be different guys having their moments to help the team win games - no real stars this year.
