This year is going to be a whole lotta fun, but…

Paul and cliff could both come back or both leave.
Right now cliff is projected to go undrafted to late 2nd.

I expect that to rise, but I am not sure that rises to late 1st, if he isn’t projected at least top 45 then he prob returns

Being the selfish Rutgers fan that I am , having Cliff , Cam and Paul staying in 2023-24 would be a gift of a lifetime . Then top that off with a 7-8 win football season and a 2023 NCAA baseball Omaha Final 8 appearance .

I just don’t see him making the NBA still has no touch around the basket and his 3 pointer shooting has improved but not nearly NBA. Caliber
Let’s see how the season progresses, but right now, I agree with you. I think he would be a second round pick if he keeps developing. If nothing else, teams would definitely want him as a FA.

Not saying that Cliff will or won't make the NBA, but there are similar players who are primarily rebounders and shotblockers and don't take any 3s. Jared Allen who was a late first round choice of the Nets is one who comes to mind. But I agree that Cliff needs to finish a lot better around the rim.

Paul graduated and is going for his Masters now. Does he have another year of eligibility after this year?

A center generally isn’t expected to take many three pointers in the NBA, but you want him to be enough of a threat to draw his man out so that wings and guards can attack the rim without having to beat both his man and a center. Jarrett Allen was much more highly regarded than Cliff in college, he was drafted in the first round after his freshman year, and in his one college season he averaged more points and rebounds than Cliff did last year, and he probably has a couple of inches on Cliff. There are a number of projected draft boards out there, and right now, it doesn’t seem like anyone has Cliff getting drafted.

I agree. Let’s make sure he gets 2 more college seasons so he can be fully prepared for the nba.
