he simply wins....14 ncaas in 25 years of head coaching in D1.....sat out for show cause for 5 years and now back winning ncaa games...he was 22-4 when he stepped down at Indiana in 2004 and took OU to like 12 NCAAs in 13 years including a final 4...I would take that.
I wouldnt mind firing Eddie after year 2 and hiring Kelvin....thats the time Houston hired him, I would imagine that RU in the Big 10 could have been more attractive than Houston which had not won an ncass tourney game since 1984 until tonight..almost as bad as RU
Kansas is basically playing a home game in Wichita so it'll be interesting to see if it is called that way.
Plus aside from when they got hot late and won it all against Memphis, Self usually craps the bed about now.
You know, watching many of these games today, I couldn't help but notice that most of these teams played worse defense than RU and couldn't rebound anywhere near as well as our guys. If our team could score like these other guys, we'd be a solid sweet sixteen contender. Just need two scorers. We're so close...

also I have a problem with seeding here...Buffalo was 26 in the rpi..there is no way they are a 13...they should have been an 11... switched with San Diego State whose metrics said they were a 12 or 13 this year.
