There was no flow especially in first half, whistle every ten secondsCrowd was dead tonight after first 5 minutes. This game was hard to get loud for as both teams were horrible in the first half. Maybe football beat downs killing our enthusiasm.
Rutgers needs to put the students in the best sideline seats. The older, subdued, sullen fans who are there right now looked like they were falling asleep during the game. No energy whatsoever. Compare this to the atmosphere at Duke or Nebraska or any of many teams where the students bring so much energy to the area around the court.
Just like for the Drexel game with 20 students and Monday night vs E. Michigan when we hit maybe 3O students. Students behind the basket are fine and where they should be at the RAC. Not at the expense of loyal fans - who pay big bucks and donate for an atrocity of a BB Program for over 25 years. Those old sullen fans didn't have much to cheer about tonight except for some instances in the first half.Rutgers needs to put the students in the best sideline seats. -------No problem with the crowd. Solid turnout for game 3. The crowd was dying to explode, but the way St John's was shooting, it was impossible.
