They make my top 50 list ....and some make my top 25..

Also, I forgot how AWESOME Pistol Pete was while averaging 44+ ppg (sans the 3 ball). Incredible.
His passes would BRING down the house today... they guy was absolutely magic.

Chick Hearn, the Voice of the Lakers, used to say "the mustard's off the hot dog", when a player messed up.

Pistol Pete's accomplishments (over 40 ppg in the non 3 era are AMAZING....as are the passes that were shown in the clip I posted). I'll take him with or without mustard: he's an original / imo marks the beginning of another era in b-ball.

Pistol Pete is probably a top 3 college player of all time. Pick the other 2 but when Magic Johnson and Isaiah Thomas attribute so much of their game to PP, you have to acknowledge. Magic thinks Pistol is the greatest.

I'd put Bradley up in the top 3 because along with Walters (a small fast point guard), he took a team that should have been in the stands watching the NCAA'S and fought a talented Michigan team (Cazzie Russell) scoring 53 points in a loss (before the 3 ball...and some of us remember that Bradley could shoot).
