Top NJ recruits choose Rutgers camp over Michigan

I am not sure Harbaugh is even keeping score. This year, he will probably just take a few top 5 guys out of Jersey. He is going after top elite players out west and south.

...don't let your new BFF's at PC know that...

The problem with Rutgers is that they are, well, Rutgers. You can spin things as positive as you want but at the end of the day, Rutgers will always be Rutgers. An NCAA bottom-feeder in pretty much everything.

...and yet here you are...on the Rutgers board...again...

Know how many times I've visited 'legendary' Michigan's board? Zero.

Pretty much have gone bowling every year in the past decade while having one of the highest APRs in the country.. so whats the problem dickhead? A few of those years Rutgers put more guys in the nfl than michigan. Hell, we even beat you guys. Take a hike man.

Only reason to be here is bc you're scared we are an up and coming program and who knows where you will be after harbough leaves for the NFL again in a couple years

OHIO STATE STAFF HEADS TO NEW JERSEY
As noted, the Buckeyes began their camp season today but the day's biggest camp was taking place a few hours east, in New Jersey. Urban Meyer, Greg Schiano, Ed Warinner, Larry Johnson, Sr. and Mark Pantoni all departed from Columbus around 3:00 p.m. to assist new Rutgers' head coach Chris Ash and his Scarlet Knights' staff at the Tristate Showcase in Teaneck.

Ohio State's presence at the camp is vital for Ash and Rutgers, who are going head-to-head with Michigan as they host a camp down the road at Paramus Catholic High School. The Buckeyes have worked hard in recent years to make themselves a force in the Garden State and tonight's camp will put them in front of a few big-time targets, but make no mistake: this is about solidarity with Ash against the Michigan onslaught in New Jersey.

All the Michigan butthurt in this thread tells me that we're living rent free inside their heads. It's only a matter of time before they have a 200 page thread devoted to how irrelevant we are.

There's multiple threads about Michigan everyday on this board and you know it. That's the only reason I'm here. Outside of Rutgers being a current topic of discussion today no Michigan board is, was or will be talking about them. The average Michigan fan who doesn't read the asinine posts on this board/twitter from RU fans doesn't give two shits about Rutgers one way or another. No one here needs to tell you how irrelevant Rutgers is. You live it everyday. You leave a cute little note on the field and the biggest college football topic on national media today is what jersey Harbaugh wore to the Mississippi and NJ camp today and Mississippi States coaches tweet trolling Michigan.

I like how Narduzzi just showed up at the Rutgers camp. Is he even allowed to do that?

For someone who doesn't care, you sure has a lot to say.
I "sure do's". I didn't say I don't care. I said the average Michigan fan and national media/fans don't care. I read this forum after the game last year like I do all opponents. Your guys' level of butthurt and anger/saltiness towards UM blew me away and kept me around.

Good luck to all of the unrated talent there. I hope they receive instruction leading to an opportunity to play somewhere.

Quick question for all of the UM fans here. While Harbaugh is running all over the place doing these camps, is anyone back in Ann Arbor actually working with the team? Just saying....

Coaches aren't allowed to at this time. Only strength and conditioning coaches are allowed to as of now. Any practices/drills/meetings would have to be ran by the players themselves.

Well that's wrong. New NCAA rules do allow for contact between player and staff during the summer now. I would think all of you would be up to date on the latest rule changes.

Contact is not working with. What do you mean by "working with"? Because they sure as hell aren't allowed to practice. Half the team isn't even on campus at the moment anyway.

"Would have to be RUN..." - not "ran". Michigan: the school for kids who can't read "good"...

I was previously undecided if you were an asshole. Turns out, you are.

And you're an asshole with too much time on his hands. Seems like you should be spending time talking with other Michigan fans about your camp. Instead you're trolling here.

Only an asshole when given a reason. I've never once non-jokingly attacked your program or school despite it being done vise versa. Until maybe this thread but hey we all have our day. (Calling Rutgers nationally irrelevant I don't think was THAT bad and there is some truth to it.)Also just because I say things that rile you up doesn't mean I'm trolling. That's like the kids that call people "haters" just because they tell them things they don't want to hear even if it may be true and helpful. I'm sorry if I offended you but am not sorry for anything I've said.

I've no interest in visiting other boards (one exception was to see fan reaction related to the whole happy valley crapola). Could care less. Never understood the reason why other fans would post negative/trolling comments here, unless they're miserable.
There's a handful of opposing fans who post here regularly on multiple boards, and actually discuss things constructively. I don't take issue with them.

No summer classes at Michigan? No freshmen reporting early to take summer classes? The days of football players returning home for the summer are long gone. Coaches can have meetings. Coach Ash just had a meeting today with all the Rutgers players. There is a snapchat video to prove it.

But visiting our board and reading our posts about the competition isn't really a "reason". Now, if an RU fan was on your board talking crap, I'd say, "destroy him." Which is kinda what's happening to you.

I'm bowing out of this thread, because despite how much I love killing time at work, work does need to be done eventually and Internet arguments never end.

I'll just say I know this is the Rutgers board. That's why I've never gone out of my way to bash Rutgers. That'd be rude. I only try to reply to posts I deem may need some perspective from the other side of the fence and various non-Michigan/Rutgers posts. I let 90% of posts ripping Harbaugh or Michigan go or else I'd be here all day. Like I said I only came here after last year's game like I do all teams forum and the sourness from this board towards UM just kinda put me off and I kept up with you guys. Besides Ohio State and Michigan State and maybe Notre Dame (which none of those boards I can stand visiting) this boards hatred of Michigan is unrivaled. So much so I was curious to linger. And yes after 7 months of reading daily Michigan/Harbaugh related threads, I don't like you guys. Not anyone in particular because that's silly, I'm talking Rutgers football. My entire hatred/opinion of Rutgers comes 100% from this forum the last 7 months and nothing on the field the last 2 years (for example I couldn't give two shits about Maryland who also beat us in 2014). So while the average Michigan fan will be watching this year's game and react to the 30pt win as nothing more than a nicely played game, I'll be in the stands loving every moment of it. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Harbaugh bless you all and goodnight.

THIS IS FOOTBALL. IT'S A GAME. IT'S FUN. WE CAN RESPECTIVELY HATE EACH OTHER WITHOUT GETTING SENSITIVE AND PERSONAL.

Don't give two shits but there is a 3 page thread on the Mainboard about a fan putting magnets on turf. You guys are a blue blood and it's great for you but I know it hurts we popped our big cherry at your expense. Like losing your virginity to Cindy Crawford. For the next 20 years announcer will talk about that night every time we play. Besides, we don't want to be Michigan. Why spend 6 million a year to come in third in your division? We are cool being Iowa.

Ya but at the end of the day you a still live in a state where sports are basically the only thing people can look forward to. The populations of Michigan and Ohio are so insecure about their states that they use the fortunes of their college teams to dictate their lives.

Almost ... except that might have been at least kind of, a little, maybe good for her.
