Who are your top Rutgers athletes of the 21st century?

What was achieved at RU? (I vote Anthony Ashnault.)

Achieved at Rutgers and beyond? (Tie for me: Carli Lloyd and Ray Rice.)

Beyond RU it has to be Carli. She scored a hat trick in a World Cup final. That is Pele level stuff. The equivalent of Rice rushing for 400 yards and seven TDs in the Super Bowl.

Good point.. but (if not post-2000) Wicks and Lalas earned the equivalent of a Heisman... which considers every position and every player from 100s of programs. There are only 79 wrestling schools. And Ashnault was not the most dominant... wasn't top 3 in that regard.

Post-2000.. it is Ashnault. I like the argument about what Lloyd did after Rutgers.. but, really, she was a dominant soccer player here and should have gotten more and higher honors should Rutgers have done better. And post-Rutgers.. there were times when I thought she should have won awards given to others.
