I'm thinking it had to play a role.Seems to be indications that Hall was already backing away due to potential academic ineligibility... maybe Martelli just thinks he can make it happen, or maybe the kid fixed an issue and was pissed Hall had backed off
Serious eligibility problem. SHU has a strong front court and therefore no need to take a risk on a potential non-qualifier.
Any linkage to Hyatt reclassifying here? I would play for Pikiell any day rather than Willard the best friend. Just thinking the timing is unique.
What got rejected was his transcripts. $500 to your favorite charity if this kid is eligible for the Hawks come season start.SHOE got rejected. Simple as that.
SJU Academics > shu Academics (no contest) So head scratcher about academic ineligibility
and slightly higher than rukiddingOddly enough their sat scores are slightly lower than SHU
Thanks knight 1212 for accurate and civil info.SHU only has a scholarship open for Hyatt without Manuel. They have Nzei, Mamukelsashavili, Gill, Thompson, Brodie, Obiagu (sit out transfer), Kale, Rhoden, McKnight, Nelson, Powell & Reynolds that are on ship for 2018-19. Manuel was # 13.

The Teachers College of South Orange got schooled! Should be another easy win for RU next season.SHOE got rejected. Simple as that.

I wouldn't encourage criticizing other schools when Rutgers has such difficulty selling out a 8000 seat arena.Seton Hall is a great place if you want to pay more money for an inferior education with zero campus life and watch the bball team play off campus in a large arena with no people in it. Can't imagine anyone wanting to go there. Never even considered it

I agree and believe SHU has higher attendance in hoops the last 8 years compared to us. Plus they have cold beer available at the Pru Center unlike the RAC shack.I wouldn't encourage criticizing other schools when Rutgers has such difficulty selling out a 8000 seat arena.
