FB Recruiting 2026 QB recruit Gavin Sidwar decommits from Rutgers Football

Not kidding. Shit happens. Pitt was not in bad shape when Pat N took over Pitt. 2018 was a disaster for Pitt.
Rutgers got back on track last year. This year happened. It's shit. If next year is a repeat, then there is a big problem.
Pitt was a disaster going 6-2 in conf. (1st) and going to a Bowl game? Given those records and Bowl games yes 2023 is the definition of Shit happens in the general universe of things. In specific, Shit happens is a yearly term when describing Schiano's results both in season, conference, and individual games. Nobody with his overall career record and in conference record gets the "shit happens" excuse in my book.

Oh forget it.

Sidwar said pretty much what many on here have said since Kirk was hired. His system does not bring excitement to the program in a positive way for players/fans and definitely not high valued recruits. Then you factor in his playcalling miscues over the past 2 years and I don't know why an high valued offensive player (skill position) would sign on.

Listen to Teels interview with TKR guys. It will open the eyes of the people that think this is only a jimmys/joes problem. This is a system problem that is not utilizing the talent of the people on the roster.

Was somewhat shocking to see him say the other team can see plays coming. Miller in motion and pass has ALWAYS gone to him on the out. I can call the majority of plays just by formation. And I'm not studying film like the other team does. KC really needs to think about SOME deception.

Just shows how amazing Monagai's effort has been as we can almost all see when it's coming.

The TD to Dremel (which was all AK with the ball fake) was the only real bit of decption I can recall-and it worked like a charm!

Rutgers should go after this guy. Long Island kid.

He quit UNLV after playing a couple of games ( in his first year as a Running Rebel) because he claimed he didn't receive the NIL money he was promised.
If Rutgers goes after him the cash better be there and in an account that he can't access until the end of season.
He didn't look like a good passer at UNLV during the time he was there, but his legs made him a threat

Yea it’s not hard to see with personnel packages and formations where the play is going. KC is very predictable and always has been.

As to predictability, I'm hard pressed to remember an RU team where I could so easily predict the play as during KC tenure.

Think we need to separate philosophy from predictability. It's ok to want to run the ball in a heavy sense. That is quite different from seeing KM and AK run to the line as if they are switching to a pass and then always hand it off. Or having Miller in motion and then he gets the pass. There has got to be waaaaay more motion and end results not to where they have been in the past (no always throw to Miller on motion, replicating plays that worked till they dont etc).

There are actual weapons. KM Strong Miller Dremel are weapons.

What ever happened to Nasiem Brantley?

My advice: wherever you go, get the promises in writing
That’s the thing with NIL, as of now. You can’t actually get things in writing until enrollment. So it has to be done on “trust” so sometimes it works out fine and sometimes it was just lies or you get less than you’re promised and you’re SOL.
