Wow. Who wants to put together a list of out of conference power 5 teams RU has beat since VTs last one ?
ESPN's FPI gives Virginia Tech a 58.3% chance to win(vs Rutgers) and they were given a 57.7% chance to win(vs Vanderbilt).
So they are saying that Rutgers is worse than Vanderbilt.

We only beat BC once. Ash didn’t beat them. To be clear, Ash never beat a P5 team out of conference.
Yep - that was probably the signature win eeking out Texas State and UMass. Thats what it took for him to finish above 500 vs. G5 teams. One more Eastern Michigan or Buffalo type on the schedule and he wouldn’t have made the cut.
The PAC 12 is trying to resurrect itself with invites to become a Power 5 conference again.
It’s probably a long shot for the PAC to keep that status, but if Tulane and Memphis moved there would be no question that group was next in line in terms of competition level.
If the ACC all left except for FSU and Clem, they would still be a power conference. Ask JDS. If FSU, Clem, Wazzou, and Ore St. Joined forces they would be the #1 power conference in the universe.
Pac 12 is not a power conference now.
