Walked around Livingston today and managed to run into some players.

Just did my monthly 16 handles run and saw Williams, Thiam and Carter. Carter is a big kid.

If you were to tell me the program would have the potential of students like Peter Kiss/Montez Mathis, and Shaq Carter coming off the bench, I wouldn't have believed you.

I spoke with Myles Johnson and told him how excited all the fans were for him and the program. Very nice kid who I hope has a great year. He is an engaged kid who I am sure comes from a great family.

He was standing next to Shaq Doorson, and although you can tell Shaq is more fit from an upper body perspective, Johnson seems to not lumber as much as you would expect a 7 0, 250 lb Doorson to.

I could see the one advantage Shaq Doorson has is just waiting for an opponent to pick up their dribble, pivot, then he goes right up with his arms, and then puts his chest out. He is a big kid and will be a hard person to move.

These kids are going to make some noise this year.

I looked up this stat a couple days ago. The last five players last year in terms of points combined for 9.6 total for all five. How many points do you think say McConnell, Harper, Myles Johnson, Shaq Carter and Doorson get this year?

I agree. I am excited regardless.

Rutgers has improved as well. Not everyone coming onto this team are playing their first year of basketball. Kiss, Carter, etc. They will be ready to contribute right off the bat.

I do think Rutgers finishes 11-13 place still.
