Is anyone watching it? Is Rick's son dead? I never liked outsiders always having second thoughts (crying or going against the group) and causing something bad to happen.

Yeah. Please update. My wife switched our cable package last week (without consulting with the person that pays the bill). No AMC! But we get to watch The Bachelor. TWD is more believable than The Bachelor.

Rick's son was shot, in the eye. Under care/repair. Will survive. A pirate eye patch is in his future.

Rick's son got shot in the eye because the locals of Alexandria panic as usual and the zombie started killing them. They were trying to walk through the zombies when panic set in. Rick was able to get his son to house for medical treatment, then he went back outside on a death mission. He started killing zombies left and right. Soon other joined him. It's an all out zombie killing fight.

Thanks for the update. Have to find a neighbor that will let me watch with them on a Sunday night.

I am a big fan of the show but I'm getting to the point of caring less and less because I get the sense that AMC is milking the show. Maybe it is the 3 month mid season break. Maybe it is the recycled storylines or maybe it is the reluctance to kill off one of the season 1 characters this yr.

At this point I'd like to see the end on the horizon. Otherwise, this show will be milked until it becomes second rate.

How 'bout that first scene? That' RPG came in handy! I loved seeing those assholes catch a bad one. BOOM!

Agree. Turning into "Lost".

I was caught totally off guard by the RPG. I thought for sure at least one of Sasha or Abraham was about to die. Great scene.

I also enjoyed seeing Father Gabriel step up last night. I've found his storyline interesting from the start and like seeing him evolve. I also wonder how the group at the infirmary would have reacted to the wolf if Carol hadn't taken him out.

This season is prepping for one of the best story-lines from the comics.

I think people who haven't read the comic will be shocked by the season finale and those who have read it, have been waiting for this to happen for a few years now.

That scene with eye was straight from the comic. It appears that the TV will start to become more like teh comic from this point on. The TV was really watered down and tame when compared to the comics, but it looks like they will finally go in that direction.

good times.

Another great episode, a final stand feel to it. assuming Negan and his gang will be the next villains.

Great episode!

Assuming Negan will want revenge, but he has no idea who wiped out his bikers, right? Nice RPG shot!

Agree. Turning into "Lost".

The problem with Lost wasnt the lack of end date, but rather the silly storyline they chose to run with over the last couple of seasons. It really invalidated much of the good work they did in the first few seasons.

So glad that kid Sam is gone, he really annoyed me. Really good episode all around - the only part I thought was silly was Glen being saved at the last second AGAIN.

The RPG scene was priceless. One of the best openings for Walking Dead. The kid Sam and his family had to go. Couldn't take the BS of the mom allowing Sam to dictate things.:chairshot: Glad to see Father Gabriel step up and grow a set.:boxing: Rick was getting a soft, but I'm happy he went on a zombie killing rampage.:uzi: If the TV show sticks close to the comics, then it such be an excellent season.[cheers]

Glen is the lucky charm for the group and show. If he goes, so does the show.[roll]

It's called trolling the non-comic readers. I thought it was funny.

Only part I didn't like was, during Rick's killing spree, filming was so dark. I found it hard to see what was going on, adjusted TV and everything.

It is entirely possible its just my old eyes, but that was the only part that I was disappointed with from a viewer standpoint. I never liked Abraham, until last night. The "Who is Negan?" line and "hey could you get the gate?" were priceless.

I really enjoyed it. There were a few minor changes but the Carl scene played out just like the comics. Unless they make a drastic change from the comic series, Carl will survive and wear an eye patch.

yep!

is is very close, here are the panels for people to compare:

exactly. i dont want to see TWD go that way. I knew last night would be a good one since I was stuck watching Bachelor.

It's going to be hard to top last night episode....

Better Call Saul tonight!

Really thought Glen was going to get it, but then Abraham and Sasha showed up. The guy has gone through his nine lives already.

I think that's a sign that his luck is about to run out. I'll be surprised if he survives the next 5 episodes.

The zombies walking into the fire; the flashes from face to face as each character hacked down zombies; Rick pausing and then fading into the black night; followed by the sunny day with dozens of bodies on the street; then the single camera slowly moving past the people on the porch into the kitchen and a then ending on Carl and Rick.

Just awesome.

Big fan of the show. Have no idea how this will end. Never read the comics.

I am a little surprised you not are given, even a glimpse, the change you would see in the environment. You are talking about a planet's population that has basically died. Idle factories, idle cars, zero fishing. The natural environment should be flourishing. Fish and deer for the masses - or what is left of the population.

Also, I hope on a grander scale, we see Rick make contact over radio and hear how SA, Africa, Europe and rest have fared.

In the movie "Children of Men" there was a Scandinavian country that seemed to have quelled the chaos and provided hope. (The boat scene at the end)

I hope we are not left with a final scene of scared faces.

(But I guess in the real world, after two years there is nothing but misery. Total, 100%, h*ll on earth, pain and misery. A totally culling of the physically weak)

Really curious how they're going to end the show. Hopefully it's a real ending. At this point not many people are turning, and walkers are being killed by the truckload. The walkers from the original outbreaks are also increasingly decayed and soon wont even be able to move. I know there are a lot of people in the world but there has to be a point where the pendulum swings back in favor of mankind. Of course the entire premise is made up, so they have the artistic license to defy logic or reality. Just saying though. They officially greenlit another season.

Still a big fan, this episode was fantastic. I was a little bored by Alexandria but this felt like a throw back to everything that made the show great. Glad to see Jesse and family get theirs. Drunk abusive dad, psycho kids, kinda hot mom but the worlds worst hairdresser, even in an apocalypse you have to eliminate the garbage bloodline. Glad to Eugene and Gabriel sack up, I give the show a lot of credit for knowing when to kill conflicts before they drags out too long. Whether Merle and everyone, Merle and Dsryl, Rick and Shane, Rick and Lori.
