Watching Shu and Maryland....

Delgado doesn't fit today's NBA...he can have a nice career overseas...

can we wait until shoe actually wins a tourney game before we sing their praises...but have to give them credit, their assistant coach for player relief program paid dividends...

Delgado will IMO get drafted------can probably make big money overseas if he can't make an NBA team.

Such a long season and who knows what they'll look like in 8 weeks but for now SHU has the look of an NCAA team.
Kwame Brown type game?

Shu has size and shooters. Delgado is a beast and could be Top 15 pick in the draft, perhaps top 10. He looks like an nba player and we will have a very difficult time defending him. Maryland also has big players and they move the ball very well. Not sure how they get the open guy but it’s a very good offense.

We are going to have some challenging games this year. Geo is a great addition and Doucoure looks like he can develop. We need some more big men and some additional shooters. And the 3 point shot is essential these days as is free throw shooting.

We are getting Better but so is everyone else. We just can’t get discouraged as it might not really start to come together until 2019. I hope to play in the post season before then, but I’m not sure we have all the pieces yet.

Delgado has about a 10% chance of even being drafted... certainly not a top 15 pick. He's an excellent college player, but that was a pretty ridiculous statement.

2nd Rd pick-----will bet money , marbles or chalk he gets drafted

There's a place in the league for tough guys.

Correct

He could possibly make more money overseas than on an NBA 2nd Round contract where he could be shuttled back and forth to the G League.

The three point shot is so critical in college hoops. If you look at Michigan as example, they can all shoot the 3 and those extra points add up very quickly. If you get behind; it's very difficult to come back. You recruit blue collar players who work hard on defense but you also need shooters.
I'd love a starting 5 of a dribble drive PG that can shoot the 3, three shooters, and a big man. I'd roll with that.

You girls will get there some day.

Unless he's got 3 point range and superior handle we don't know about.
