Way Too Loud at Howard Game

Wow, the sound system was so loud today it hurt! A carryover problem from last year. I couldn't even hear the person sitting right next to me. So many people complain about this year after year, can't the school please doing some about it. It's a football game, not a club. I don't need or want the blaring music nonstop.

If we were a real football program, we'd have air-conditioned porta-potties. The porta-potty I used had to be like 120 degrees. Otherwise, I was comfortable.

They definitely raised their hearing damage game pre-kickoff and first half. Didn't seem as painful in 2nd half but could be because my ears were numb. No idea how this isn't tested somehow before the game. Can't even imagine what it's like closer to speakers. Jesus Christ.

I walked down to the south end with my kids in the 2nd half to see if there were any interesting food options. We turned around as we approached the speakers because it was so ridiculously loud.

I like loud music and blast the radio in my car, but the sound system was blasting so loud that the music was distorted and sounded horrible. I've been to many other stadiums and sporting events, and music isn't played that loud. There is such a thing as "too loud" and that can be measured, and that's not whining. When the sound level makes the audio distorted, it's too loud.

The speaker system seemed upgraded this year. The sound always sounded muffled in the past which made the blasting much worse.

If you look where the out of town scores used to be, it looks see through and looked like there were more (and upgraded) speakers behind there. I do agree that it was too loud.
