Little consolation as we have not been competitive against the three best teams we played.

We were a hell of a lot more "competitive" against Washington than Oregon was. Baby steps.

We lost to three teams that are sometimes blowing out the titans of football. Washington just scored SEVENTY points on Oregon. Oregon! Ohio State beat Oklahoma at Oklahoma easily, by 3 TDs. Our coaches have doubtless made mistakes but this is easily the hardest stretch of games we've ever had, with the weakest roster we've had in over ten years.
