We need to rethink the schedule

Thanks for chiming in. You are right, I don't support the team with cash. I NEVER WENT TO R.U.. BUT on the other hand, my taxes help support the mess that is on the gridiron. To say that in front of them at my age? Should I fear being assaulted? Seems like that is what you are suggesting, violence, am I right? See I have freedom of speech, they have no freedom to assault anyone. Thank you for assuming you know how large I am or I am not. MAYBE, just MAYBE they would be the ones who have the fear you speak of. Maybe, maybe not. Again thanks. Have a good safe week.
I didn't go to RU either. Yet, I have had season tickets for coming on 20 years now. Donate to the program. Why? Because i am a fan. You're just some whiny malcontent who just enjoys internet beef. Your opinion on anything related to the program is irrelevant.

Lol. Some people think that their tickets or donation actually makes them better fans.

Some of you crack me up

Like it or not, he's right

Who the f*ck are you to call a bunch of kids and young men clowns? You said you don't even go to games! I bet you don't support the team with some $ either. A grown man calling a team clowns shows a lot of class! (all low) Internet muscles. You would shit yourself if you had to say that in front of them.
Feelz...lol

As D1 athletes, they've been called much worse by coaches and even parents along the way

“This is really Year 2. 2020 shouldn’t count against HC Schiano! He was left with a HC Ash roster!!”

Maybe the Ash players weren’t so bad after all?
Since the offense gets worse as more and more Ash players cycle out.
Interesting nugget to ponder yet no-one wants to touch it

If you are going to measure fans at all, buying season tickets and going to games year after year, through both good and bad times, is a legitimate measurement as far as I am concerned

Of course many here do not live near the university as time goes on, but still care about and watch the program, again through good and bad times

Both types can be good fans, providing they stick with it

Should we all show up at one of your kids events and continue to shout at them and call them all clowns for anything they do wrong.....or better yet...smear it all over social media anonymously? After all.....freedom of speech.....amiright?

Here's my freedom of speech......you might as well be a PSU fan based on the lack of support nor participation for RU. In other words you're fvcking worthless to RU. I'll be happy to Venmo you the couple bucks of your tax dollars that go towards RU athletics. Go fvck yourself.
That whole “my taxes” bullshit is so weak. Even weaker that a supposed RU fan does it on an RU site. Plenty of things to complain about with this program, going with that canard is beyond lame.

Please go away

It's attitude of fans looking down on those that don't attend or donate that is the issue. A fan is a fan

Under Ash, the offense ranked last, second to last, third from last and somewhere in the middle over 4 years. With Schiano the offense has been somewhere in the middle, 11th worst and 5th worst. It IS getting worse as Schiano's efforts take hold but it was always bad. It's just variations of bad. The main lesson here--unsurprisingly--is that in the 2020s teams with bad offenses suck and don't win many games. Our company near the bottom is mostly teams like UConn, UMass and BC. Defense ain't what it used to be. Our HC is an obsessively defense first guy living in the past. We should've hired an offense guy.

You also have the right to act like a Jerkoff and you play the role well! The few cents, of your tax dollars, that may find their way to RU would still be the same amount even if there was no Football team.

Last game of the season will always like this once the divisions are gone:

OSU vs Michigan
Penn St vs Michigan St.
Rutgers vs Maryland
Indiana vs Purdue
Iowa vs Nebraska
Wisky vs Minny
Northwestern vs Illinois
UCLA vs USC

It's what we have already.

Other than the Sparty/State Penn tilt they all seem natural, including the added USC/UCLA.

I wonder if this is why some bristle when I propose "Ban all donor money - not just NIL. Create an actual level playing field".
Those fans wouldn't be able to look down on others for not donating as much as they do.

Yep, OSU vs Michigan will never be broken up. There was kind of a round robin between PSU, RU, Maryland, and Mich State the past few years for the last game.

The only other factor I'd figure in is a huge IF Notre Dame gets added to the B1G. Then I think ND vs USC would be the game like this past weekend. Leaving UCLA to play whomever else would be added to the B1G. USC vs UCLA is the 2nd to last game just like Michigan vs Michigan State.

We know Penn State will fight like hell before being assigned a last-game "rivalry" slot with Maryland or Rutgers. And I can understand that. They are kind of odd man out, as good as they are...

All of the other one's work/fit.

It happens every year. We get to the last game of the season and instead of waxing nostalgic when it's over and looking forward to next year we get trucked by f*ckin' Maryland and I have to spend all winter trying to talk myself into buying season tickets yet again.
The irony is you can buy tix and parking passes from Stubhub cheaper than the season tix cost with the seat fees.

Have you thought this through in any logical way? How do you plan on banning donor money to non-profit institutions for facilities that might be multi-use and the benefit to students in general. Even if you can ban donor money - how does that level the playing field when you still have significant differences in TV Revenue and Tax Revenue going to schools. How about the significant differences in Coaching Salaries and Recruiting budgets?

Regarding fans looking down on others....is the plan to eliminate preferred parking and seating as well? What about luxury boxes? Not sure what society you guys live in, but in this one, money talks the loudest and unfortunately those with the most......often look down on others. It will continue to be that way unless you are all pining for more socialistic policies.

Pretty funny that the guy who started this by calling our players "clowns" is not even a RU fan - he lives in Northern NJ and admits to not going to any RU games, has no connection to Rutgers, and admits that he would rather go tailgate and attend a Princeton Football game. Best I can tell is he is attached to this site and mostly posting on this board to troll his politics on the CE forum.
