Weekend games -- 11/17-11/19

Dayton took care of St John's earlier this afternoon.

Michigan State buries Butler by 20

Illinois somehow down to Valparaiso at half, wins by 23...

Mulcahy playing with more energy in 2H vs Xavier close game with 11 minutes left.

Michigan losing to LB State isn't that serious, but it's mid November.

Penn State looks like it will be a pest and while Nebraska isn't expected to make the NCAAS, they will beat you if you're not careful....the B1G from 5th to 12th or 13th, looks like it's not sorted out yet. RU with some better depth, should be able to survive the long season.

The only game I've seen RU on TV was the Georgetown game. I think RU will be fine this year. The Big Ten - down a bit. However, I believe the Big Ten ended up tied with the Big East in the Gavitt Games this year. It's not all gloom and doom.

Easy now, pump the brakes…..all of us were just hoping that the guard play would improve and Fernandes would actually do something in a game. Now we’re finishing top 5. Let’s let these guys gel together a little more and keep improving.
On the other hand. Maryland is a picture perfect example of what happens with new talent that doesn’t gel.

Hopefully folks can give Pike some credit and not bash every decision he makes.

He’s forgotten more about basketball than most know.

Ivy league doing work...

Princeton up 13 at Monmouth early 2nd half
Columbia wins at Temple

Yale and Penn both off to good starts this season

Bodes well for Princeton being Q2 instead of Q3
Should have mentioned, Harvard won at UMass y'day and Yale handled a decent Colgate team.

I'm starting to sound like @RU72

It’s not crazy to think the Big Ten only gets 5 or 6 teams in the NCAAs this year.

Have to fill 68 lines. Would be shocked if B1G only gets 5 or 6.

I don’t get it. Why are we so sure they won’t be Q1? They are undefeated with only the Duquesne game being close. The Dukes aren’t a bad team. They haven’t lost to anyone else yet. Looking at Princeton’s schedule, I only see a max of like 10 losable games (they aren’t going to lose to complete tomato cans) and every game is winnable. Top 50 NET finish isn’t out of the question. That’s what we’d need for Q1 right?

I’m including their next one vs ODU in the losable bucket. Big game for them.
