from last night Northwestern knocked off Illinios in OT and Kennesaw rallied to win at Georgia State

Michigan State wallops Nebby 89-52

Notre Dame beat Syracuse in a battle of bad team 69-64

Marquette up 57-50 in 2nd half vs Wisconsin

Michigan up 40-37 at half over Iowa

St Johns knocked off Kansas State 88-71

Wisconsin drops their 2nd in a row 88-74

Michigan just about ready to finish off Iowa. Michigan so impressive thus far. Goldin is a man.

well spoke too soon, Iowa has cut it to 3

looks like goaltending call under review puts Michigan up 85-83 with 3 seconds left, plenty of time for Iowa scarecrows to win it with a 3

Both Michigan and OSU seem to have gotten it right with their new coaches.

I missed Michigan with Slappy as the HC. This new guy is way better. You can see it in their offense playcalling and ball movement. Coaching matters.

Once again this year, it looks to be impossible to win on the road in the Big Ten.

#8 Purdue gets blown out at Penn State
OSU went down 33 at halftime at Maryland
We lose by 10+ for the first time at OSU
Nebraska, who handled Creighton on the road (where #1 Kansas just lost last night), was losing today by 40 at MSU
Illinois goes down at Northwestern

Good luck everybody. Long season.

(Oh yea, and Purdue fans want Matt Painter fired, saying he cant win without a 7 ft center, and Nebby fans want Hoiberg fired, the hometown hero who took them out from the ashes .. so for all you who are ready to throw Pike out with the trash after our 3 straight Q1 losses all away from home, maybe these guys will be available ;) )

Seton Hall makes a nice run to cut it to 7 with under a minute. Did not give up after being down 25 . Oklahoma State held on .

SEC continues to shine and Vandy goes into TCU and wins by 9 to go 9-1. They were picked 16th in the SEC. Mark Byington who made the run with James Madison last year is their coach and he obviously knows what he is doing.

More SEC and Missouri was taking Kansas to the woodshed by 24 points and they are still up 59-48 with 7:48 left and at the line .

Missouri completes the upset of Kansas by 9. Kansas 2 losses this week to Creighton and Missouri. Creighton lost 2 in Vegas before beating Notre Dame.

Texas A&M does it again and goes into raucous Lubbock and beats Texas Tech (was 7-1 ) and will remain ranked . SEC again wins over the Big 12 . SEC is an absolute beast this year and I don’t think there is a close second. Kentucky went into Seattle last night against Gonzaga and after being down by 10 at half , win the game in OT. 2 great road wins for the SEC .

I think Harper can be a leader. Only so much a guy can do. Down the stretch him guarding Sears tells me a lot
At least three plays yesterday really showed the character of Dylan: loses the ball dribbling into traffic and dives on it, causing an out of bounds call off of OSU; he steals the ball to end the first half with a breakout lay-in; gets it stolen by Thornton, comes up behind him and steals it back. He’s a winner who leads by example.

PS, he finished with 20 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals in his first league road game as a freshman. Who does that? We’ve already come to expect it from him.

Oregon/UCLA on BTN now...big test to see if UCLA is going to be decent this year, they have beat 7 nobodies and lost to the only legit team New Mexico that they played

Wow! UCLA banks in 3 with .4 sec to go up 73-71

The Ducks run of luck this year comes to an end with their first loss and the Bruins steal one on the road
