Jason Baum @JasonBaumPR
Thrilled to read that Greg Schiano is back in CFB at Ohio State! I have a new team to root for in the B1G.

shh don't let the media hacks on twitter read this thread, they and the Pernetti tards feel that Baum was unfairly treated, of course they just base that off their hatred of Julie and not the guys insubordination

the bottom line is he didn't get with the program and on board with what Julie wanted...so bye Felicia. He was part of a faction that needed to be excised. Let him root for OSU

bac2therac, funny that you should say that. Many, including most importantly Dr. Barchi, felt the same way about Hermann ... so bye Julicia! She's now been excised!!!

Cute but not answering my question.

Pretty much every single time a negative story came out around our athletic department, it was because he leaked it. All because his loyalties rested with Pernetti and Schiano, not Hermann or Rutgers for that matter -- further evidenced by his recent tweet. Julie sniffed out the leak and fired him.

Doesn't sound like a great career move.

Who was the second leaker?

The new Fredo?

BCU must be thrilled. LOL

Tell us who it was then?

Would love to know.

I have no idea. Thats why theyre "anonymous." But things continued to be leaked well after he was gone. So safe to say logically it was someone else. (If we r assuming it was only one person, which I also doubt).

Really, how come after he was gone you heard less and less. Was he the only one? I doubt it but was he one? Very likely. I'm sure there may still be some others still around but I'm sure some are gone as well. Did we here much about Chris Ash until just a couple days before? Do we here much now about any choices of assistants besides educated guessing? It took a twitter photo from a recruit to find out the special teams coordinator.

Will things still get out? Sure, sometimes intentionally and sometimes not but it's a much tighter drum now than it was in the past.

It was very much possible that there were multiple leaks within the AD, which you seem to agree with. So why is it incorrect to surmise that Jason Baum was plausibly one of them?

Not incorrect to. It's incorrect to say he was THE leaker..which is what started this.

I have no idea if he was A leaker or not...but I'd think it's strange for the head of PR to leak stories to the media which damages PR.

Again though, who knows.

Said President Julietard.

Bac doesn't seem to like much other than LoBro and Chicken Fingers. If he liked Julie she must have had some good qualities. That's how I see it.

I know the University atmosphere is vastly different than the corporate world because in that world the leakers would have been booted a long time ago. I'm hoping Hobbs calls the known leakers in the AD and tells them they need to get on board or perhaps it'd be better to explore other employment options.

Every school in the country has leakers.

If the stories were positive, no one would have issues.

Hobbs won't care about leakers if he runs the department correctly.

in reading this thread, I just had one reaction - specifically - I am very glad that Julie is gone. Her tenure here was very divisive and I am glad not to have to deal with that anymore.

Even if they make a very difficult job even harder? Makes no sense to keep them around. The AD needs to be run like any other business, not be a place where people who have different agendas go for a lifetime paycheck.
