The "party" was simply a continuation of the one we threw there all year long. Me going, or not going to the game, had zero to do with the party. I chose not to go to Detroit for personal reasons if that's okay with you (I have made EVERY bowl game other than last year and The International Bowl for which, btw, I still put together a party for our fans who did go to Totonto...). I have also thrown bowl parties, in Hoboken, for games that I attended in Houston, Birmingham, Orlando, and in the Bronx, twice, IIRC. I think that covers it! Didn't need to throw one the year we went to Houston because that season pretty much took care of itself and all the bars were packed anyway.
So, there's that, yeah, but still an odd comment on your behalf, lol, oh well!

I must say, the "Sky is Blue Crowd" has quickly become one of my all time favorite message board items, just for the sheer idiocy, which I suspect has been compounded, rather than alleviated, by the delightfully ironic explanation of where it came from.
