Why aren't tonights Semi Final CFB Playoffs on Saturday ?

Last year's 3 NYE bowl games blew away records...

I'd imagine with 2 of the 3 being playoff games this year, we'll see even more records broken...don't think ESPN is worried about ratings. They'll be just fine.

Last year's NYE games had the Fiesta Bowl and the Orange bowl instead of games like the Sun Bowl and the Liberty Bowl, of course the ratings were higher last year.
