Is he a given for Maryland? He seems like a homerun for so many teams so Im surprised that he's not mention much.

Ex OC at Stanford with harbaugh and then the colts. Right now there is only one name being mentioned prominently. Not a good thing imho.

Pep Hamilton was fired this year from the Colts, and improved after he left. He has never coached another QB other than Andrew Luck.

Maryland is also looking at Frank Reich, OC at the Chargers. He's a UMD grad, who at QB engineered two of the largest comebacks in football. The first was at UMD against Miami when UMD was trailing 31-0 and they came back to win 42-40. This game has been replayed many times on the BTN during this past off season. The other comeback was when he backed up Jim Kelly at Buffalo. With Kelly injured, he started the AFC playoff game against Houston in 1993. The Bills were behind 35-3 in the third quarter when Reich got hot and rallied the Bills to win 41-38.

I'm actually interested in Mike Bloomgren. 38 years old and full of energy. The Stanford Cardinal offense has looked great the last few weeks against Cal and this week against ND. Of course, he has a senior QB and McCaffrey, a potential Heisman nominee. Nevertheless he is a offensive run genius which would fit nicely with our personnel. He's also worked in our area with the NY Jets in different roles including asst. OC for 4-5 years prior to his Stanford responsibilities.

If we had any cash we could hire a defensive genius and an offensive genius and let them each hold a piece of the national championship trophy that we would inevitably win.. Who the hell needs an HC?:confused::confused::confused:
