He deserves it.
Pike was spot on in his eval - ahead of Shaq Carter was when he came in. And definitely ahead of RGA (although I know he was good team glue last year).

But I must say that while the sample size is small, he is actually better than Shaq was when he graduated. I wanted to highlight his passing: interior pass to Cliff for a slam (he had one the other day too), and then the amazing Oakley-esque (old school Knicks fans understand) outlet pass to someone for a transition bucket (can't remember who).
Glad to have him playing full time basketball for us.

His only issue right now, and the coaches are getting on him is when cliff is in he tries to force a pass to him in the paint.

when there is too much traffic just go up.

coach Hobbs told him “cliff will get the rebound” other than that love what I’ve seen

I like him a lot. Had some good instincts passing in the post. That outlet to I believe Hyatt was insane. I audibly yelled wtf when I saw the ball flying full court to instant relief of a catch and score. He will be a good piece. Strong as **** too

Kid will be a B1G help this season and beyond. Can he play TE … What a shame I know . We would love to see this 6’ 9” 250 lber lined up on the outside or blocking DB’s and LBer’s as We run a sweep or quick out route.

He will become even more valuable to us when we play teams like Michigan or Purdue where we need a bodies on Dickinson and Edey to wear them down or not get pushed around. Love the comparison to Oakley.

He may be the one to throw the touchdown pass with .2 seconds left on the clock.

Such a quiet recruiting sign, but he has caught my eye as well, looks very smooth for a young bigger man, and god knows we will need him as the B1G get going....3 games is a small sample, but if he develops like I think he can, you got to give credit to Pike.

Let see where we are in 60 days....

Most unheralded big men who become good are awkward their first couple of years. This unheralded player can already play and will be good as time goes on.

I like him a lot. I can’t and wouldn’t put him ahead or behind anyone who played before him but hope he is much better than all of them.

Woolfolk showed the bball skill in his HS tape. The hands, the passing, the touch around the rim, the physicality

The one thing that has changed is he transformed his body since he is no longer playing football which has made him more agile and athletic. He moves soooo well for a big man defending the perimeter etc.

He's just a really solid all around player with a good feel for the game. He gets it. Ahead of schedule development wise for a freshman big especially one that was a multi sport athlete not focused on bball only

Big Bad Woolf! Exceeding expectations. Playing much better than a lot of the bigs brought in by Pikes at this point in his very short career.

Pleasantly surprised how good he is this quick. He has a post game and is a good passer. Best thing is he doesn’t back down and is tough.
