Worse coach?

I can't believe the Syracuse coach called a timeout when he is up by a TD, just sacked the other team for a huge loss. Not to mention the other team had no time outs. Next play... TD Central Michigan and game tied. I am not sure even flood is capable of that.

Flood is not capable of that.
All his time outs would be gone in the 3rd Qtr. because of his unorganized chaos.

Well Syracuse still won, but Shafer is clearly over his head.

The CMU coach chickened out twice and it cost him the game . End of game he could have went for 2 to win on the road and he plays it safe. Then in OT 4and short by the goal , he again plays it safe, takes the FG and watches Syracuse win the game. When on the road, you need to be a little more aggressive.
