Did anyone here make the Wrestling Banquet tonight? I was intending to go but something came up at work on my end. Was anything important announced?

RU Baseball player Christian Campbell has Pagano beat. He had a bright Orange Tux on last night at the R Awards.

The banquet was one of the best I have attended and I have been to them all. Pagano was dressed casual last night. Ashnault dressed in a black suit and red tie and looked like The Godfather. He had tremendous presence and gave a great talk. Theobold gave the longest speech and was hilarious at times. Ashnault and Theobold got most of the awards. Mike Van Brill was red shirt award winner. John Van Brill got comeback of the year match. Theo got match of year beating Collica. Well attended and food was outstanding. The coaches gave great talks and it just makes one overjoyed to see the dedication they have to the program and how much the wrestlers love and respect them.

Ashnault has future college coach written all over him. Very impressive young man. Excellent night all around. $$$$
