The NJRTC, which gets rolling April 1st with head coach Reese Humphrey's arrival (pictured far right), just tweeted a photo out. It looks like Duke's Jacob Kasper (third from left), Lehigh's Darian Cruz, and Wyoming's Bryce Meredith. Other than Anthony Ashnault, Princeton assistant coach Joe Dubuque (orange shirt) and RU's coaches, I can't say for certain who the other individuals are. Nor is it apparent whether these guys are signed on NJRTC resident athletes or whether they are there to decide. If they are signed on...what a bonus for the Rutgers and Princeton athletes to train with these guys.

Edit: Young guy on the left is Travis Stefanik who will be a Frosh at Princeton next year. Pictured between Ash and Pollard is Princeton assistant coach Nate Jackson.

One more step forward to catching the big boys. The more we have to offer the more top level recruits will want to come here. Just keep plugging away and moving forward eventually you'll find yourself among the top of the leader board.

Yes RU is actively recruiting resident athletes, there were others also here this week. These guys have not signed on yet, but it looks good that RU/Princeton will upgrade their resident athletes for next year.
I really, really hope we sign Kasper, especially if our goal is to land Schultz as a Heavyweight here. We desperately need a top grade Heavy to work with our upperweight wrestlers.

It is similar , and should be looked at as a suppliment to both The SKWC And PWC. The resident athletes of the NJRTC will be able to work with both schools guys.

Does having the new practice center under construction help bring in top wrestlers now or will some wait until it is complete?

What a group in our room!!! We all new this was possible!!!
Jersey can become a dominant training center!!!
I am so proud of the work by coaches wrestlers and supporters from both programs!!! Build it they will come!
This must be Jersey Thing.

While drawings, looking at concrete and steel is nice. You need the facilities complete to get the full effect. Now it's not going to be the end all be all for wrestlers. But it's one helluva nice perk to be wrestling in a brand spanking new facility with all the amenities and a top notch medical staff right down stairs.
